I went back in time a bit today to reminisce our vacation from a couple summers ago. On the long drive home from Vancouver Island, we stopped in Jasper and let the kids play in the lake for a good while. A pullback of my previous shots, to keep it real with you. Clutter everywhere, birthday balloons still afloat from a few weeks prior, and a table full of condiments because I was cleaning out and scrubbing the fridge at that moment. I had looked over at her sleeping, and the light coming through the window, and knew I needed to grab my camera. Inspiration can strike at any time, and I’m trying to embrace it when it does. A few months prior I probably would haven’t had bothered and just tried to finish with the cleaning first.
